Peach Cobbler - What's the easiet way to take the skin off of the peaches?
For cobbler you have to peel them (darn it). If you were canning them you coud dip them in boiling water for a minute or two and skin would come right off, but need them firm for cobbler. Hope this helps.
Reply:i agree with the first answer. boil them for like 3 min. then shock them in ice water and the skins should come off really easy.
Reply:Pour boiling water over them let set a few minutes then drain and place in bowl of very cold water. The skin should slide right off them.

If you have extra try this slice the peaches and put in bake dish add 3 Tablespoons flour and 1 Tablespoon cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. mix well. Take a roll of canned Cinnamon rolls and place on top bake as directed when golden brown remove and drizzle icing over top.
Reply:you can use a vegetable peeler or you can blanch in hot water for about 20/30 seconds and rub peeling off
Reply:Cut a small X in the bottom of the peach. If you do it for 3 minutes like the other answers say to, you'll be stewing the peaches. You should plunge them into boiling water for no more than 30 seconds. Take them out and put into ice water to stop them from cooking. Take a paring knife and peel off the skin from the end you cut the X in.
Reply:you can blanch them ,dip them into boiling water to loosen the skin then peel it off.
Reply:I don't know if I would boil them like everyone says. If you do that they tend to get really really mushy and just runny all over the place. I know that they will get like that eventually but that will just make then worse and they will be completly mushy. It is up to you I guess. I would just peel them, it is really not all that hard.
