X1 peach + y1 plum = z1 apple, x2 peach + y2 plum = z2 apple ,(x1,y1.z2 integer) How many peachs make one aple

1peach +1 plum = 1 apple

1peach - 11plum = 1 apple

2peaches = 2 apples

1 peach = 1 apple

X1 peach + y1 plum = z1 apple, x2 peach + y2 plum = z2 apple ,(x1,y1.z2 integer) How many peachs make one aple
knashha has beat me to the answer I would have given. However, I will also add that x1, y1, z1, x2, y2, and z2 don't have to be integers. The only requirement is that y2z1 - y1z2 not be zero. If x1y2 - x2y1 is zero, then an apple is equal to zero peaches, whatever that may mean.
Reply:multiply eqn1 by y2 and eqn2 by y1, then you can subtract

and get rid of the plums,

(x1y2-x2y1) peaches = (z1y2-z2y1) apples. Solving,

(x1y2-x2y1)/(z1y2-z2y1) peaches = 1 apple.
