How can i keep worms away from a peach tree???
Spray them with a dormant spray when it is not raining or snowing; and be sure to remove any mummies (peaches still hanging on the tree that are shriveled up) and clean all the leaf debris from around the tree. You can also use Neem oil and copper spray which help with leaf curl and biotic diseases that cause pests to gravitate to your tree.
Reply:Identifying the pest is 99% of the battle and in order to advise you on a cure, it would be nice to know where you live as different insect pests are common to certain locations. Having this info, allows a person to find a means of just what type of control is needed. Indiscriminate applications of "dormant oil" and "timely applications" of a pesticide before a pest is identified, is an unsafe practice as far as pest control goes. Insects have different stages of their developement that allow for the "right" insecticide to be utilized for maximum control. Applying an insecticide for no reason (not knowing just what it is that your are spraying for) isn't the way to go here. I will check back later to see if you have added more info to this question, then I can give you my professional recommendation.

lol lol.... I can see where this question is headed!

Reply:timely insecticide applications..a bit before the flower buds open in the spring then again after pollination and then every few weeks through fruit growth. There are numerous products on the market but I still have the best results with fewer treatments with malathion

In the dormant season dormant oils can be an aide
