Peach cobble w/ rolled out crust. can anyone help me.?
Use 321 dough....3 parts flour....2 parts butter....1 part ice water....pinch of salt.

Depending on the size of the cobbler you make, dictates the amounts of these, but the method is the same. Cut the butter into the flour by using either a pastry cutter or a fork, until the butter and flour are crumbly. Add the water untill it forms a dough. Dont handle it too much or you will melt your butter. You dont want that to happen, its not a good thing. Once you have a nice dough, roll onto a floured board, and cut it into strips. Weave it like a lattice, egg wash, and bake it at 400°F covered in foil for 30 mins. After 30 mins are up, remove foil and return to oven and bake for another 30 mins at 400°F. Hope this helps.
Reply:The super easiest method I could think of would be to buy the Pillsbury Pre-Made Pie Crusts (found in the refrigeration section near the cookie dough, crescents, etc). Roll it out (its already a circle, but just rolled in wax paper), and cut it with a sharp knife. Can't get much easier than that!!
Reply:I am a former chef and you can make a sweetened mix like with Bisquick, and just put in on by spoonfuls, arrange them so they are as close as possible so when it spreads they either connect or keep the filling from bubbling over in the oven, use a deep enough pan so when the expand it does not come over the side, a 9X12 9X14 cake pan oblong is best, or if you have a pyrex one to.

You can make it from scratch but the bisquick is more reliable, I use some brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla and even grated some orange or lemon peel in or a dash of nutmeg or cinnimon.
