Peach fronted conure?!?!?!?

are they any good as pets... anyone got one.... are they anything like green cheeks?

would they get along with a green cheek???

I know how to "introduce" them but would it not be a good idea all together?

SORRY FOR ALL MY QUESTIONS!

Peach fronted conure?!?!?!?
i had one, he was not hand fed but not too scared. He talked some and got along great with a sun conure, cockatiel and parakeets.
Reply:I owned a Peach Front, it's hard to say in general how the bird will be in general, I find that they all have different personalitys, one may be real sweet and social and others may be aggressive, this has a lot to do with how they were raised as babies. I have housed different bird species together, in general it is usually good to keep them in separate cages, but it is not impossible to house them together, I recommend that you let them get used to each other outside of the cage, the big problem with parrots is that when they have a cage they are very protective of their area, if you have a cage that is neither the Peach Fronts or the Green Cheeks you may have more success, then they are introduced on neutral ground and one is not in the others territory.
Reply:I find peach fronts to be agressive compared to the green check the green check is far more pet quality than peach front . i find that most conures that have been raised by themselves are far better staying that way . I doubt a peach front would get along with anything . I had one that was so agressive that I absoloutly could not do anything with it even after several days after ayr I finally gave up.
Reply:Peach fronted conures are one of the sweetest of the conures and actually one of the ones that is not quite as noisy. (they are still noisy, but not as much as a sun conure) He should do okay with your green cheek. We have some together here where I work. (read my profile) They get along, but they are all about the same age. You should have a spare cage available just in case they don't get along. Be sure to quarantine the new bird for 14 days
