Peach coloured top makes me look ill?

I have just bought a very pretty top in a peachy colour,i am very fair skinned and now i actually have it on i think it makes me look pale and ill, do you think i need to be tanned to get away with this sort of colour or maybe it just isnt for me at all.

Peach coloured top makes me look ill?
if you are really fair skinned like me then the only way peach works is by wearing one with detail around the neckline so the peach isn't right next to the skin, in a design like this: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PINK-PEACH-BLACK-L... best is to wear something like this with either black hotpants/city shorts or a black mini skirt. other than that all i can say is that YOU are the one who needs to ask yourself the question- will i be comfortable in this item? because if the answer is NO then simply find a new top.
Reply:orange colours are not good in myopinion find a different colour
Reply:Peach clothes always looks pretty but they rarely look good when you actually wear them. I've found that the only people who look good are the older generation, when they have more wrinkles than the clothes themselves and have sun spoiled skin (I don't mean tanned, I actually mean spoiled).

Personally I wouldn't wear it, but if you feel that you must, try a tan and see if that works in your favour, but I doubt it will.
Reply:There are certain shades of orange that make me look like a carrot, so I avoid them. Tanning carries a risk of skin cancer, so I would avoid that.

You need to ask someone else who will be candid with you. You may not look as bad as you think.
Reply:A pale peach should look lovely on you as long a you wear blush in a peach tone. If its a dark peach bordering on orange, well, that is a difficult color to wear possibly you can try a camisole underneath in a white or cream to break up the peach color. That and pearls or something creamy white at the throat would give it a different cast.
Reply:Well if you dont think it looks good youre probably right. The colour washes a lot of people out. Try and return the top if you can, give it to someone else or try and dye it or wear it with another colour top underneath it.
Reply:Take it back and exchange it for a crash helmet.
Reply:peach or anything in the orange family doesn't look good on anyone....could you dye it another colour?
Reply:You dont say what hair colour you have ,but you def need to try on with full make up -preferably in golden tones and try with some cute brown city shorts (next do some great ones for 20 quid !) with a gold belt and chunky gold wedges and you will look fierce !!
Reply:Add some colour into your make-up to stop your face looking drained. You can get lots of colours that will easily brightien your face, a rosy cheek colour will be a good start.
Reply:A tan could possibly help, but its quite a draining colour.
Reply:I"m kind of the same way (especially in winter). You can try tanning, but DO NOT go to a tanning booth--they are HUGELY dangerous! Go outside or to the beach and lay down and tan. If you have a reddish tint ti your skin, i don't suggest wearing peach again, becaseu it will make your face look redder. But if you have really whitish skin, it might work. If you don't want to do any of these things, then don't wear or buy that color again!

Reply:try it again anyone would look pail and kinda ill without make up wear it and put some make up and take a 2nd opinion maybe it's just you..(I have that sometimes..lol!)anyway accessorize and have another look.., if you still don't feel comfortable than don't wear it (the discomfort shows and even if you look breathtaking it's not worth it if you don't feel it)

good luck and take care!
Reply:posibly but try boots sumer tan and it should work well with ur skin
Reply:well, if you dont feel comfortable wearing it - then your discomfort will shine through and be noticable

it's not about what you look like - it's about how you feel - clothes help people feel good etc etc
