If a peach can die a peach and be resurrected a peach tree?

why couldn't it be possible for me to die a man and be resurrected in the likeness of the God who created me? Isn't the evidence that the resurrection Jesus promised His followers will take place clearly seen in those things in nature that have been made?

Reply:so god is a giant tree and we are seed-bearing fruit now? Nice analogy, but we plant plenty of people in the ground and nothing ever comes up.
Reply:I believe that there are many things in nature that teach us about God. A tree whose roots run very deep in the ground may bend during a storm but it remains firmly planted.( If we are rooted deep in our love and trust of God , the storms of life(trials and troubles )may shake and bend us but when the storm is over we still will be standing. If you plant seeds that are good(gentleness, forgiveness,love ETC) you will have a large harvest of these things to bless your life. If you plant bad seeds(hatred, envy, meaness) you will have a large harvest of these things to curse your life. Another lesson from nature would be the lesson that water can teach us.A little water is good(enjoying the good things of life in moderation) but water can also destroy by raging floods(overindulgence in material wealth,pleasures,and things that have no lasting value).these are only a few examples of the lessons that God teaches us through nature.

Reply:A peach becoming a tree is not resurrection -- it would have to become a *peach* again for your metaphor to be apt.





A peach becoming a peach tree is biology, which also shows us that dead things do not return to their former state of living.
