In her book "And their eyes were watching God", Zora N. Hurston talks of a peach tree,?

There is a peach tree close to my apartment and every time I see it, I see it like she did. It's truly a sensous tree, with small pink flowers that attracts all kinds of bugs...Being that is Earth day one of these days, can you explain a personal relationship you have developped with nature??

Make sure you watch "Planet Earth" Sunday on the Discovery channel. They are airing all past episodes and 2 new ones.
Reply:If there's a really large freaky looking Excursion sized spider outside my window, I get my mama to smash it's brains out.
Reply:Small pink flowers that attract bugs are sensuous? Oh well, to each his own, LOL.

Among my ancestors are the Aniyvwiya Tsalagi, American Indians who celebrated nature and lived in intimate association with it. I have inherited a little bit of that, despite living in a different place in a different time..

I always enjoy being outdoors and snuggling in the warmth of sun, fields and streams. Nature is a visible expression of the love of Galvladi ("Great Spirit," God), and its treasures are available to all who take the time to find them.
