my brother and father are wearing same tie(peach) and my mother wants us all the same but i dont like peach

Look at it this way, I hate dusty rose with a huge passion. I also look like death warmed over in it. But for my brother's wedding, I wore the dusty rose tafetta bridesmaid's dress from Hell with dusty rose lace overlay, crinolined skirt, and massive butt bow. That was what his bride chose, so I sucked it up and wore the horror for a few hours. I did it because I love my brother, and I loved his bride. I still do.





At least all you have to suffer with is a tie which most people won't even notice.





Wear the tie. Make your family happy. You can burn it ceremonially after the reception, but you'll already have done your brotherly duty.

Reply:Is peach one of the colors of the wedding? If so then you should go ahead and wear it. Actually as long as it is not a color that washes out your skin coloring or anything go ahead and make your mom happy cuz its only one day. If you sincerely think you will feel uncomfortable in that color then tell your mom and choose a tie that is another color used in the wedding. Good luck
Reply:It's a tie, I wouldn't worry about if you don't like peach or not. This isn't YOUR wedding, it's your brother's. If he wants you to wear peach, wear it.
Reply:If they are both wearing it then it is probably one of the wedding colors, so you should just suck it up and wear it! Who knows, you may be lucky enough to find someone to marry one day and she may have weird color tastes as well, but you'll have to go along with it, cause you love her!
